Mubarak with Lacroix candles
Mubarak Al Busaidi, CEO of Al Taseheel Al Wataniya, the Omani company managing much of the Championship logistics, visited the firing site to view the fabulous range of pyrotechnic candles that Lacroix-Ruggieri have installed.

A quick kip
We are constantly amazed at how cool the teams are under pressure. Here we see some of the Lacroix-Ruggieri team ‘chilling’. The working temperatures in Oman are about 28C so a midday power snooze makes a lot of sense.
